RTC Medical Solutions provide nationwide event medical cover. Our Paramedics are all experienced front-line staff who respond to real 999 emergencies. Additionally. our First Aid personnel are all trained in advanced assessment and treatment by Paramedics which makes our medical cover the best available.

Levels of Cover:

Understand the jargon...

Medic: We are often asked to provide "Medics" for events. The term "Medic" in the event medical setting is a term widely used to describe a person providing medical cover for an event. At PEMS we believe that anyone who is receiving any level of medical care has a right to know what level of treatment they are receiving. Following feedback from our customers, patients and staff we improved our staff insignia to include clinical grades.

First Aider (minimum 3 day First Aid training with top up training to include major incident training and triage)
 

Advanced First Aider (As above with medical gasses and additional training in patient assessment)

First Response Emergency Care (FREC) (As above with drug therapy, immobilisation and intermediate assessments)
 

Nurse (State registered with advanced assessment, some nurses are able to close wounds.

Paramedic (State registered pre-hospital experts in advanced assessment, drug therapy, Advanced Life Support and Patient assessment. 

​

Doctor (State registered with ability to prescribe medication and depending on skillset able to perform surgical techniques pre-hospitably).
